If you want to have one of the most original Persian dishes, I propose once to try the Abgoosht; I promise you to love it. Abgoosht is one of the traditional Iranian foods, which you can order more at the traditional restaurant. Abgoosht is a watery food that eats in two steps.  The first step, water of Abgoosht serve with small pieces of bread (To cut the bread into small pieces and mixed up with Abgoosht that called Tilit) and the second step, the materials inside, crushed and then eaten with Sangak bread and pickles and greens.

Abgoosht is usually made with lamb, chickpeas, white beans, onion, potatoes, tomatoes, turmeric, and dried lime.

There are several types of Abgoosht in Iran, some of which are different materials from each other such as: Bozbas Abgoosht, Kashk Abgoosht, Balghour Abgosht and etc.

Make traditional Abgoosht in a container called Dizi. However, with the arrival of different types of boilers and pans, the use of a Dizi for baking Abgoosht has been reduced, but anyway, many people still believe that the real Abgoosht in Dizi make, it’s great to use Dizi to cook Abgoosht, which is made very slowly over time using this container. And so, the food gets a unique flavor. Dizi made of stone, ceramic and copper.
