 Itinerary

 

Take a flight to Tehran and accommodate in Tehran’s hotels.

 

Drive towards Salt Lake and visit Halophyte vegetation types. Included a long
walk around 4 hours. Afterwards that, come back to Kashan and stay at Kashan’s hotels.

 

Drive towards Maranjab Desert. See a variety of plants and animals, visit: Aran-O-Bidgol
salt lake and Wanderer island, a caravanserai on the Silk Road, Sand dunes with a height of 70 meters and staring at milky sky. Come back to Kashan and stay at Kashan’s hotels.

 

Drive from Kashan to Isfahan and botanizing in the Natanz mountains. Afternoon sightseeing in Isfahan. Accommodate in Isfahan’s hotels.

 

Drive from Isfahan to Chelgerd and botanizing on the mountains of Shahrekord.
After that, come back to the Chelgerd and stay at the hotel.

 

Botanizing in the central Zagros (e.g. Dionysia, Fritillaria, Tulipa) and after a long walk around five hours, come back to Chelgerd and stay there.

 

Botanizing in Golestankuh and stay at Golpayegan.

 

Drive to Northern Zagros and visit Oshtorankuh Mt. This journey includes a long hiking around four hours. Then, come back to Hamadan and accommodate in Hamadan’s hotels.

 

Sightseeing in Hamadan.

 

Drive to Kermanshah and visit Tage-Bostan and Bistoon heritages. Stay at Kermanshah’s hotels.

 

Drive to Takab and Botanizing in the northern side of Zagros mountains. Then come back to Takab and stay there.

 

Drive to Zanjan and visit Takhte-Soleyman heritage and botanizing at Belqeis mountains. Included a long walk around four hours.

 

Drive from Zanjan to Tehran and botanizing in the Alborz mountains. Accommodate in Tehran’s hotels.

 

Botanizing in Tuchal Mountain in central Alborz. Accommodate in Tehran’s hotels.

 

Take a flight back.
