Tabas, Iran desert bride?

Sven Harin, Sweden traveler, says about Tabas in his travelogue: Palm and citrus trees, cool shade of palms, a beautiful melody of flowing water, Grass between two streamlets, whispers of wind among the trees, and many fountains send the water to the sky, like earthquakes. The historical and natural attractions of the Golshan Tabas Garden.

Tabas is located in the northeast of Yazd. Tabas has a very hot and desert climate. Its neighbors: Bardaskan and Shahrud cities from the north, Ferdows and Birjand from the east, Kerman province from the south, and Nayin, Ardakan, and Bafgh from the west and southwest. Tabas is one of the oldest cities of Iran that had a big earthquake on 25 September 1357 That destroyed most parts of the city. Documentation showed that Tabas has returned to the pre-Islamic period and the Sassanid period but archaeologists have not discovered any traces of this period in the city of Tabas.

  • The attractions of Tabas city include: 

1. Golshan Garden:

Golshan Garden is located between the Kavir desert and the Lut desert. Golshan Garden is considered a masterpiece by Zandieh and Qajar. There is a relatively large pool with three fountains inside this garden and there are many Palm trees around them which have created a beautiful view.

2. Azmighan Bungalow village:

Amazing nature and a unique tourist attraction, encourage you to visit this village. Villages are the best destinations where you can touch culture and traditions.

3. Famous vault to Shah Abbas:

Travel 27 km from Tabas city and in a strait above the hot Fountain of Morteza Ali (AS). The Shah Abbasi vault is the most historical assembly of Iran!

    

 

  • What is the best time to go?

 All seasons are so beautiful but, if you want to experience the good weather of Tabas, Autumn is the best time to travel it. 

 

 
  • Getting there:

    In the fall and winter, Hipersia has 3.5 days to visit the city.
    1.First route and shortest route, from Tehran to Damghan, then Jandq, and Khor with a distance of 854 km and finally go to Tabas.
    2.Second route: leave Tehran to Naiin. After passing Anarak and Choopanan, you will arrive in Tabas along the 923 km route.
