Rasht Airport is an international airport which is located in the city of silver rains, it also is known as Sardar Jangal Airport.

Rasht Airport (Sardar Jangal) is located in 10 kilometers north of the city of Rasht, Gilan Province, in north of Iran. Placing in the third most visited city of Iran is one of the advantages of this airport Due to its privileged position on the Caspian Sea and situated on the North-South transport corridor, this airport supports all air transportation of Gilan and neighboring provinces.

Rasht Airport is the 17th most crowded airport in Iran. This Airport operated 3.853 flights, 3.483.396 passengers and 385.910-kilogram cargo passed through it in 2016. Currently, 100 domestic and international flights operate at this airport every day.
