Ilam Airport

Ilam Airport is one of the country's air borders and is considered the second crowded airport in the west and the 16the in Iran.

Ilam Airport is the main airport in Ilam province which domestic and international flights are operating at this airport. About 74 flights operate at this airport per week. This airport has one flight band which is equipped to the lighting system, but due to the climate of this region night flights cannot be operated. Currently, Ilam Airport flights are limited to domestic flights.

• The Ilam Airport terminal

The Ilam airport has two domestic and international passenger-terminal with an annual capacity of four million passengers. Also, Zahedan Airport is equipped to the ILS system, this device is used for low visibility, storm, and inclement weather.

Note: the international terminal is under construction.

Ilam Airport offers flights to Tehran, Isfahan, and Mashhad. It also offers some international flights to Najaf from 2016.

Ilam Airport is located eight kilometers from Ilam, On the Ilam Malekshahi road. Also, there are alternative to get access to the Ilam Airport via public transportations such as taxi.
