Ab-o-Atash Park

One of the most attractive and beautiful parks in Tehran. The Abo-o-Atash park located in the center of Tehran.

The Ab-o-Atash park located Abbasabad hills. In this park, modern game equipment used, and the thing that makes this park very attractive is the use of water and fire in the park.

You can go to a picnic in the park, but not like other parks. There are Gazebos so you can picnic in there, but it's not allowed on the park grass.

The park consists of several parts that we will refer to below:

• •  Fire towers 
    
    Fire towers are one of the symbols of Ab-o-Atash park. Four towers on the east side to a height of 10 meters and send fire to the sky. Each night, along with the sunset and the darkness of the air, these towers are used. Enjoy the warmth and watch the fire dance in the sky, and do not miss the exciting sound that comes out of the tower's brightness.

• • Water fountains 
    
     Water fountains The Ab-o-Atash park in a circular environment throws water from 240 different points up to 10 meters in a musical form in the sky. These fountains are designed that people can easily move from them and continue on their path.
     

• • Amphitheater 
    
    This place designed for religious and ritual ceremonies, celebrations and street theaters. The 705-meter tile, cemented platforms and vast grounds in front of it, make up the amphitheater for the Ab-o-Atash.
     

• • Iron sculptures, narrate the life of Abraham (AS).   
    
    If you are interested in the story of the Prophets, you can see the fascinating story of the life of the Prophet by watching the steel sculptures that put on the Ab-o-Atash park.
     

• • Lighthouse 
    
    The lighthouse is one of the most famous and beautiful symbols of the Ab-o-Atash park. At some times, the doors of this lantern open to enthusiasts, and people can climb their spiral stairs and above it and watch the unique view of Tehran, the Tabiat Bridge, the Abbas Abad hills and the Modaress highway.
     
  • Tabiat Bridge
    
    This bridge has become the symbol of Tehran and the connection between Ab-o-Atash and Taleghani parks. This bridge built on three floors and has some restaurant.
     
  • Khazar artificial lake and the surrounding area
    
    This artificial lake divided into three parts, which reveals a small view of the Caspian Sea.  Built a path for cycling and walking along the lake.

• • Square of Fame
    
    At the end of the park, you will find a squared square with a fascinating entry gate that will fascinate you for a while. The gateway built the famous Iranian architecture style and welcomed by guests and tourists. From the entrance you pass, you will encounter 60 statues of Iranian celebrities, so far there are 6 of these sculptures established.
     
  • Gonbad Mina Planetarium
    
    The Dome of Mina is one of the most famous structures of the Ab-o-Atash. This circular structure was designed and inspired by the sun and its flames and using elements of Iranian and Islamic architecture. The dome is the largest planetarium in the Middle East, where you can watch the sky. Planetarium Mina's doors open on Thursdays and Fridays twice, at 21:00 and 22:30. Each session of this collection lasts 50 minutes. Each time you visit this planetarium costs about 200,000 Rials. Ticket sales are currently in the dome of Mina.
     

• 7D Cinema game

These types of cinemas are the latest generation of multi-dimensional cinemas in the world and showcase computer games instead of movies. So, to increase the excitement and realism of the game, in addition to the use of the seat movement system and the environmental effects that are present in the six-dimensional cinema, a specific gun is also available for each person to play.

The work hours of the cinema are from 17:00 to 23:00 and each time you spend 5 minutes to play and each period is about 120,000 Rials.

• What is the best time to go?

The park is beautiful in all seasons, but because the park is on a hill, it is cold in the winter and late autumn, and sometimes with winds. In the summer, your children can play water with fountains.

• Getting there?

Different routes and different vehicles can be used to reach the park.

Subway: You can take the metro from Haqqani Station (line 1) to the park.

Private car: You must reach Haqqani Highway by private car. On the west-east side of this highway, after passing through the Jahan koodak intersection, enter the Allameh Shahidi street. This street is on the western side of the Ab-o-Atash park, after the Jahan koodak intersection and not reaching the pedestrian bridge.
