Kazemi House Museum is an old house in the historic district of Tehran which dates back to the Qajar era. This house belonged to the stableman of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar. This old district has specific architectural and urban values such as residential parts, and communication paths.

Kazemi House Museum was built during the Qajar era. As the other Iranian old houses, it consists of the different part such as outdoor part, Andaruni (indoor part), Ab anbar, Matbakh (a kitchen in the mansion), and stable. One of the specific spaces in this old mansion is Rakhtshooy Khaneh (wash-house). People washed their clothes in the rivers or spring, Rakhtshooy Khaneh was a new function in a house during that era.

Shah-Neshin is the only remain of this house, which includes a story and a basement with two courtyards. You will see the southern courtyard in the outdoor part and the northern one in the Andaruni of Kazemi House. Shah-Neshin has two halls in the center. Some small rooms as Gooshvareh placed around the halls that dedicated to hosting the quests.

The principal part of this mansion place five meters above the courtyard. This mansion has a brick façade that created a marvelous view. The ornamentation of the inner part of the house includes a unique pattern for windows and Orsi windows. Orsie is one of the Islamic architectural effects, a lattice window like Sash window which used in red, green, blue, and white color in Kazemi House Museum.

    Kazemi House Museum is placed in the Chale Meydan, one of the old district of Tehran near the Grand Bazaar. The address of the museum is Abolghasem Shirazi alley, Emamzadeh Yahya district, Panzdah-e-Khordad Street. To reach there the best way is using metro. Also, you can install the Snapp application on your mobile and take a car to reach the bath.
     
    • Metro: You should get on the subway train in line-1 and get off at the Panzdah-e-Khordad Metro Station. It is a 23-minute walk from the metro station to this museum.
