Shahid Chamran House Museum

Martyr Chamran (Shahid Chamran) is one of the great contemporary Iranian characters. After his martyrdom, his home became a museum.

Mostafa Chamran was born in Qom in March 1933 but grew up in Tehran from one year. Martyr Chamran played a significant role in the political struggle of Dr. Mosaddegh from the 14th Iranian Majlis (14th parliament) to the nationalization of the petroleum industry. He was one of the hardworking elements in keeping the national movement in the struggle in that period. Dr. Chamran stayed away from school at any time and continued to study along with all activities. Chamran elected in a first Iranian legislative

election as an agent. With the onset of the imposed war between Iran and Iraq, he went to the war front. He martyred in the war in June 1981. This house, which has become a museum, is the father's house of the martyr Chamran, and he grew up in this house. After renovating the house in 2008, it became a museum and people can visit this great man's home and personal items.

This house is considered as an example of late Qajar architecture. Shahid Chamran house museum is located in Chale Meydan in Tehran city.

Also, the grand bazaar of Tehran is located there, so this area is so crowded. You must get off at the Panzdah-Khordad station. Panzdah-Khordad street is one-way street from east to west. You have to walk the distance between the metro and the museum.
