One of the most attractive and unique architectures of ancient Iranians was the architecture of their public baths. If you like to bathe in one of these old Iranian baths, be sure to go to the Qazi bath.
The ancient Iranians believed that clean the body is so important. So, if you look at the history of Iran, you will find that from the pre-Achaemenid period, the Iranians were very fond of bathing. It is interesting to know that in Persepolis, researchers have discovered places that look like private baths. One of these baths is the Qazi bath in Isfahan.
There was a pond filled with hot water in the old Iranian baths, and People washed their bodies in it. This pond was called Khazineh. Due to the lack of hygiene in Khazineh during the Pahlavi period, the use of Khazineh was banned. So, the Qazi bath was changed. and they used the shower instead of the Khazineh. This change damaged the building. The Qazi bath was active since the revolution, but unfortunately, due to the negligence of the owner, this bath is being burned and destroyed by some people. Fortunately, this bath was registered on the National Monuments List on November 21, 2008. This bath was purchased by the Housing and Urban Development Agency at the time then Its reconstruction began. Today, many tourists visit this bath and even bathe. you should know that ladies and gentlemen are separated in the bath.
