Based on diplomatic relations, the rules and conditions of obtaining Iran Visa are different for people from other countries.

- Non-visa authorized countries to enter: If your guests are from Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Bolivia, Malaysia, Venezuela, Armenia, Oman and Egypt they can travel to Iran for a certain period without requiring a visa. In order to extend Iran visa, they can submit their requests in one of the Iranian consulates or embassies in their countries. Also, if they are in Iran, they can go to the Migration Police Department and apply for extending Iran visa.
- Note: Recently, citizens of China, Japan, India, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Cuba, Indoesia, Russia, UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Tunis, Mauritania, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Morris, Seychelles, Brunei, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Belarus can be allowed to enter the country without a visa within a specified time.
- Aliens of the United States, Britain and Canada can only receive Iran tourist visas in the form of a tour. Aliens of the United States not only have to travel to Iran with a package-tour, but also must travel along with a tour guide who has approved by the Cultural Heritage Organization of Iran, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Migration Police Department. The itineraries for the aliens of these countries must be clearly identified, such as accommodations, attractions to be visited, exact dates of arrival and departure, and in some cases the exact routes of travel must be mentioned.
- Citizens of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Iraq, Colombia, Jordan, Somalia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh are not allowed to obtain an airport visa. They must go to the Iranian consulates or embassies to request for Iran visa.
- Citizens of Bangladesh and Afghanistan can’t apply for a visa from travel agencies. They must apply for a visa to Iran directly to one of the Islamic Republic of Iran's consulates.
- Except as noted above, citizens of all countries will need a visa to enter Iran. Due to the many opportunities that have been provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, obtaining an airport visa is also possible for many countries. In order to make this process easier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran has provided conditions for examining your guest's application form before arriving in Iran, and by providing an application code, the visa process will be greatly reduced.
