Mount Dena (4448 m), is the highest mountain in the Zagros Mountain Range. The Mount Dena in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, has created a highland region with fantastic nature on the northern part of this area. In fact mount Dena is the name of a sub-range within the Zagros mountan range, including several high peaks; The highest peak of the Mount Dena is Bijan3 (Ghash Mastan 4409 m). Mount Dena has three caves, Dengzlo, Nool and ice cave. It also has several springs, the most popular of them are Spid, Sherink, and Mishi. Sisakht is a beautiful town and a good camp for climbing that is located on the southern foothill of Dena Mountain. Also, this area with extensive marvelous gardens, moderate and mountainous climate in summer, has created an eye-catching prospect for nature buffs. Maybe some Mysterious point about this area has made an attraction for people. The name of the Sisakht is referring to old legends and linked the past of this region to the Kianian period.
