Qavam House or Narenjestan Garden (The Orangery Garden) is one of the most famous gardens in Iran, where the arts used in it have made these gardens very special.
The Qavam garden was built on Ali Mohammad Khan Qavam's orders. This garden was established during the reign of Nasir al-Din Shah Qajar, in the years 1257 to 1267. In 1345, the Narenjestan Foundation awarded to the University of Shiraz and from the years 1348 to 1358 under the supervision of Professor Arthur Apham Pup that was known to the Iranian scholar.
It is interesting to know that the Narenjestan Qavam museum was built in, which donated objects kept by American professor Pup.
The other name of this garden is the Narenjestan garden (The Orangery Garden) because in this garden you can visit many sour orange trees. The entire structure of this garden is symmetry, it means that the porch or the mirror room of the garden in the middle and the rooms are aligned to the right and left of it and this feature is a unique point of the garden.
In the courtyard of this garden, with the exception of beautiful sour orange trees, in the middle of the eye-catching flowers, there is a creek that leads to a magnificent pool. Due to the fountains in this creek and the pool, you will always hear the soothing water in the mansion.
The garden consists of two parts: the outer part (the Narenjestan Museum) and seraglio part (Zinat Al-Molk House), which are linked by a tunnel. It used as a venue for political, military and visiting representatives from foreign governments.
