The octagonal pillars of the tower, the gravestone, the floor of the tomb, and its steps are made of granite. The construction of the tomb of Baba Taher has been destroyed and rebuilt many times in the past years. In the 6th century AH, an octagonal brick tower was built on this building, which was destroyed over time. During this reconstruction, a tile plate belonging to the seventh century AH was found on which the Quranic verses were written in the Kufic script. In 1329, this semi-work structure was restored, and in 1345, a new pattern of the building was proposed by Engineer Hooshang Seyhoun and Engineer Foroughi. The construction of this tomb began in 1346 and ended three years later.
