Overview

Visit the home to many Zoroastrian fire temples and historical mosques, bargain in the bazaars, buy Persian ancient art and crafts as a souvenir, relax in classic tea houses and chat with the friendly locals.

Visit one of the largest cities of Iran in terms of area, home to many historic mosques and Zoroastrian fire temples. You will visit the wonderful Ganjali Khan Bathhouse and see its extraordinary architecture. Get familiar with the famous manufacturer of cashmere wool shawls, other textiles and carpets, and rugs that have been exported for so many years. Located at the edge of Kavir-e Lut (Lut Desert), Kerman's climate is unique and quite moderate. Discover a fossil paradise where the discovery of dinosaur footprints in 2005 renewed hopes for a better understanding of the history of this area. This area is home to the largest producer of pistachios, ancient carpets, and copper. Meet this strong cultural heritage, which is expressed in the local accent, poetry, local music, handicrafts, and customs that Kerman has introduced to the world.
