Abidar Park

One of the mountainous parks in Sanandaj is Abidar Park. Abidar park is a very famous park in Sanandaj.

The park is located in the western part of the Sanandaj city, between the Abidar mountains. Abidar Park consists of two mountains called the big Abidar and the small Abidar, each of which is 2250 and 2350 meters high, respectively. 

Abidar means a place from which much water flow. Due to the presence of many springs in this mountain, it is called Abidar. There are several gardens and natural springs in this park. One of the largest gardens in this park is the Amiri'yeh Garden that there is the largest open-air cinema in it.

One of the reasons for this famous park is its beautiful scenery. At the top of the park, you can look at the whole city.

Most of the day, this collection hosts travelers and tourists from all over Iran and the world. There are gazebos in this park for those who want to have a picnic in the park.
