This waterfall is one of the high waterfalls in Iran with a height of 48 meters. The Bisheh waterfall runs ten meters to reach the Sezar River after landing on the ground. The width of this waterfall is 20 meters and springs near the Bisheh rail station are the water supply source. The Bisheh waterfall is located in the city of Khorramabad, Papi district, the city of Sepid Dasht and the village of Bisheh, and enriches every viewer with its greatness and beauty. It is interesting to know that the Bisheh waterfall is the 48th national Iranian heritage that has been listed in the Iranian Heritage List in 2008.
Lorestan is a four-season province that you can travel there all seasons of the year. Bisheh waterfall is located in a mountainous region, which is why the winters are cold and overcast and moderate in summer. The spring is the best time to travel there because of the perfect weather conditions in this area. The autumn of the Bisheh waterfall is very spectacular, and thousands of colorful trees create a vivid landscape. The waterfall is quiet and often overgrown in the fog. Winter is cold, but it's hard to come by. Our recommendation is not to travel there this season.
Travel by train: Lorestan Railway is one of the most beautiful and most spectacular Iranian railroads, and you will be surprised at any moment by passing through the Zagros mountains. As we mentioned above, you can also use the railroad to get there. So, go to Dorud city and take the train to the Bisheh waterfall. From Doroud to Bisheh rail station, the route passes through the oak forest and Zagros and goes upward against the direction of the Sezar River in the mountains. There is not much way from the station to the waterfall. When you get off the train, follow the guide signs, cross the bridge to reach the waterfall.
Travel by car: The route to the Bisheh waterfall by a private car is longer and harder than the train trip. You can go there either from Khorramabad or Dorud to the Bisheh waterfall. Of course, from Dorud to the waterfall is 20 kilometers longer. On the road, there are signs that you can easily use them to find your way to the waterfall.
