Tekyeh Moaven al-Molk is the beautiful and magnificent works that have remained the Qajar period in Kermanshah province. This building used for religious ceremonies and resolves tribal and nomadic fights.
Tekyeh Moaven al-Molk is one of the remaining buildings of the Qajar period. This building is famous for its unique tiles. The Tekyeh Moaven al-Molk ordered by Hussain Khan, known as Moin al-Roaya and three brothers helped build the building.
This building consists of three parts: This building consists of three parts: The first part is Hussainiya, the second part is Zainabieh and, the third part is Abbasiyeh.
The building is about 6 meters below ground level, so you have to go down to seventeen steps to enter Hussainiya. Next to the steps entrance, there is a Saqqakhana (it is a small religious place where people light candles.) and also decorated with the designs of Abbas ibn Ali (AS). Abbas Ibn Ali is on horseback and also has Sword to his waist and flags in his hand. All over the facing inside and the entrance portal to the building decorated with excellent tiles.
There are many tile tableaus inside Hussainiya section (This place is the mourners of Imam al-Husayn mourn for Imam al-Husayn and the battle of Karbala.). These tableaus, scenes of mourning, as well as images of Iranian caliphs and sultans and, show the court of Solomon.
The mid-section or Zainabieh is a roofed courtyard surrounded by various chambers. This place is for women participating in the mourning ceremony. The only dome of this collection built for this part of the building.
All the walls and chambers around with beautiful tiles include 18 tableaus from the tragic scenes of Karbala. There are eight tile tableaus on top of the wall of the dome. The grave of Moaven al-Molk, who died in 1327, is in a small room in the southeast of Zainabieh.
Abbasiyeh building is a large courtyard built that on the eastern side, built the two-story building, and there is an Iwan (Space is in the front of the rooms that have already been coming in Iranian architecture. This space is made up of altitude from the ground and it is roofed and open from a multifaceted.) with two columns of brick on the south. Abbasiyeh walls decorated with colorful tiles.
The western door opens to Haddad Adel Street, the north door opens to Al-Maliki's alley and, the south door to the Ilkhani Alley.
The best time to visit Kermanshah is from early June to early September. It is better not to travel to this city in winter because Kermanshah has very cold winters. The high-season of travel to Kermanshah is usually late spring and summer; at this time, Kermanshah has a pleasant climate and also the surrounding nature reaches its peak.
