Asiyab Kharabe Waterfall

Asiyab Kharabe Waterfall is one of the most beautiful areas of East Azarbaijan, and this waterfall is known for the ruins of a watermill to the Asiyab Kharabe Waterfall.

The Asiyab Kharabe Waterfall is one of the most beautiful landscapes of East Azerbaijan, located in the city of Jolfa, near the border between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan. Perhaps the imagination of a beautiful waterfall in the orange mountains, which does not have greenery, seems to be hard. Nevertheless, this waterfall has shaken all these equations and created a different image in the heart of nature.

Near this waterfall, there is a watermill with a height of 10 meters and an area of 200 square meters. The Asiyab Kharabe was a watermill that was used by people of this area for many years. Many parts of this watermill have been destroyed over time and lost their usage. Due to the remnants of this watermill, this waterfall is known as the Asiyab Kharabe Waterfall.

There are several springs above the mill that supplies the water of this waterfall. These springs originate from the Kiamaky Mountains in the Kiamaky Wildlife Refuge.

One of the attractions of Asiyab Kharabe Waterfall is the mosses and plants that cover the walls of this waterfall. There are also many fig trees around this area, which makes the pleasure of traveling to this waterfall double.
