Tabriz Airport is an international airport which is located in the city of Tabriz; it also is known as Shahid Madani Airport.

Tabriz International Airport is located northwest of Tabriz, East Azerbaijan Province. This international airport has an area of 420 hectares. Due to its location in the airspace of Iran to Europe and the Middle East, this operating airport is one of the most important airports of Iran. Tabriz Airport is equipped with the ILS, DME, DVOR, and NDB systems. An ILS device is used for low visibility, storm, and inclement weather. This airport operated 14,236 flights, 4,780,800 passengers, and 1,768,398 kilograms of cargo in 2016. Currently, 200 domestic and 20 international flights operate at this airport during a week.
