One of the oldest bazaars with different and beautiful architecture is located in Gorgan. This bazaar is one of the major economic centers of the city.

Local bazaars are one of the city's most popular attractions for tourists. The bazaar is a crowded and noisy place with very tasty and varied foods and vegetables. Na'lbandan bazaar is a local bazaar in downtown Gorgan that is one of the city's historic places. In general, Golestan province has two local bazaars, one of them is located in Gorgan and the other one in Gonbad called Russia bazaar. These bazaars are located about 100 kilometers from each other. This bazaar is one of the great centers of presentation of all kinds of native and non-native products. Its handicraft products, especially Turkmen handmade, are so famous in this bazaar.

Gorgan's old bazaar is one of the most beautiful bazaars in northern Iran in terms of architectural style. According to available evidence, this bazaar dates back to the 375 AHS. The Jammeh mosque that is located next to the bazaar, is the oldest in the city.

This bazaar is one of the major textile wholesalers. As the province has the most cultural and ethnic diversity, the variety of handicrafts and foods in this bazaar are also so different.
