Abbas Gholi Khan Historical House is one of the ancient buildings of Shiraz that dates back to the Qajar period. This historical house is located in one of the beautiful cities of Shiraz called Abadeh. It is interesting to know that Abadeh has been registered as a world-wood-carving city in the Cultural Heritage Organization of Iran. The architecture of Abbas Gholi Khan Historical House is a perfect example of a central courtyard house with unique stucco and wooden decorations. Parts of this building were added during the Pahlavi period. More part of the south side of the building, including the well, the water tank, the entrance, and the kitchen, has completely disappeared as the street widens in the seventies. It is interesting to know that the supply of potable water came from this well.
Abbas Gholi Khan Historical House is a two storey building with several rooms. After renovating the building, the downstairs is used as restaurants and upstairs as coffee shops. One of the upper rooms is also used as a photography studio.
