Tarik Dareh Ski Resort is one of the most important ski resorts in Iran and located between Hamedan and Mount Alvand.
After Shemshak and Dizin, The Tarik Dareh Ski Resort is the third noteworthy ski resorts in the country where stands on the hillside of Alvand mountain. The ski resort is situated about 10 kilometers in south-west of Hamedan with a total area of 50 hectares. Due to the suitable facilities and distinctive features, The Tarik Dareh Ski Resort hosts many ski enthusiasts every year in the ski season and capable of holding the snow ski and grass skiing tournaments in all seasons. The lowest elevation of the resort is 2600m (8,530 ft.) while its highest elevation is 3150m (10,334 ft.) and that’s why the ski resort has an amazing powdery snow on it. The length of the ski slope is 1,700 meters.
The Tarik Dareh Ski Resort offers a range of facilities as follows:
The entrance fee of the Tarik Dareh Ski Resort is 180,000 IRR from Saturday to Wednesday (except official holidays) and 200,000 IRR for Thursday and Friday. The duration of using the ski resort for one day is from morning to afternoon (from 9AM to 3PM).
A rental shop is available at the ski slopes with an average rate of 400,000 IRR.
The ski instructors are available at the ski school to teach you how to ski. The rate of the ski instructor is 600,000 IRR.
In addition to the dormitory that is provided at the complex, you can get one the hotel in Hamedan and due to the short distance between them, The ski slope is easily accessible.
The ski season at the Tarik Dareh Ski Resort runs from first of December to late March and sometimes this period extends to April, depends on the snowfall. Summer and Spring are the best time for grass skiing.
The Tarik Dareh Ski Resort is located 14 kilometers in south-west of Hamedan. From Hamedan, it takes about 30 minutes and the easy route to get there is, Ganjnameh Road towards Tuyserkan.
