
To obtain an Iran visa, Afghan citizens must apply in one of Iran's consulates in Afghanistan.
The Afghan Aliens can’t apply for an Iran visa from travel agencies. Also, they can’t obtain an airport visa due to the immigration law of the Islamic Republic of Iran, unless they have a permanent residence card from other countries or a Bangladesh residence card.
So, The Afghans must apply directly in one of the Islamic Republic of Iran's consulates, where located in Kabul, Herat, Mazar-I-Sharif, Kandahar, and Jalalabad. If there isn’t any possibility for Afghan aliens to apply in one of Iran’s consulates, they can apply online from Iran’s Embassy website, which launched to facilitate and expedite the issuance of visas.
The price for an Iran visa for Afghan citizens is different and depends on the type of visa and place of obtaining it. For a tourist visa, the fee is around 75 Euro.
