Tabas is located in the northeast of Yazd. Tabas has a very hot and desert climate. Its neighbors: Bardaskan and Shahrud cities from the north, Ferdows and Birjand from the east, Kerman province from the south, and Nayin, Ardakan, and Bafgh from the west and southwest. Tabas is one of the oldest cities of Iran that had a big earthquake on 25 September 1357 That destroyed most parts of the city. Documentation showed that Tabas has returned to the pre-Islamic period and the Sassanid period but archaeologists have not discovered any traces of this period in the city of Tabas.
Golshan Garden is located between the Kavir desert and the Lut desert. Golshan Garden is considered a masterpiece by Zandieh and Qajar. There is a relatively large pool with three fountains inside this garden and there are many Palm trees around them which have created a beautiful view.
