This Bazaar has connected the Naqsh-e Jahan Square to the Kohneh Square. Qeysarriyeh Portal is the entrance gate of Grand Bazaar. The structure of the Grand Bazaar has built on two stories. The upstairs dedicated to the commercial activities and the other Corporations settled side by side on the downstairs. There is a circular area in the middle part of this Bazaar with a marvelous dome above it. Also, you can see a Caravanserai with 150 shops in two stories on the western side of the Bazaar. You will see Muqarnas on the ceiling of Qeysarriyeh Portal which made of colorful tiles.

Late March till late May is the best time to visit the Grand Bazaar of Isfahan.

 

  • Getting there?
     

Grand Bazaar of Isfahan located on the Northern side of the Naqsh-e Jahan Square. It is possible, to reach Grand Bazaar of Isfahan via public transportation as following paths:

Bus: To reach Naqsh-e Jahan Square, you should use the buses on the square of Imam Hussain - the Ghadir Gardens of the East Terminal, or Imam Hussain Square - use the Hast Behesht of the Khorasgan Terminal and get off at the Imam Square Station.

Metro: The nearest station is Imam Hossein Square. Then you can reach Naqsh-e Jahan Square by taxi.
