Sheikh Ali Khan waterfall

Sheikh Ali Khan's waterfall is a very impressive cascade with the paradise air located in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province.

There is a beautiful waterfall called Sheikh Ali Khan on the high slopes of Kuhrang, located at the entrance of the Sheikh Ali khan village. Sheikh Ali Khan waterfall located 40 km from the village of Sar Agha Seyed near the town of Chelgerd.  Sheikh Ali Khan village is the central part of Kuhrang Province. This village located at altitudes of Chehel Khesht and Zard-Kuh.  The water of this waterfall originates from the heights around the village.

The waterfall in the spring has the most beautiful view and the most water. In the spring, grow the Fritillaries in this area, and the beauty of this place will double. In fact, in the spring, everywhere in the province of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, you will see current waters and springs that make the beautiful scene.

In seasons such as winter, the cold weather in Kuhrang city makes this waterfall become icicles. The height of many icicles' waterfalls is more than half a meter and even a meter.

By this cascade, you will find medicinal herbs such as Oregano. The breeze coming from the waterfall combines with the sweet smell of Oregano and creates a pleasant air.

The weather in the village is moderate in the spring and summer, and in winter it is cold. If you want to enjoy the pleasant weather, you can go to this cascade in May. If you want to see the frozen waterfall and enjoy the winter nature of the cascade, it is best to travel to Sheikh Ali Khan's waterfall in February and March. If you decided to travel to this area in the summer, it is better to take a tent with you because there is no canopy.

To reach the Sheikh Al khan waterfall, after entering Shahrekord, go to Farsan and then move towards Chelgerd Road, then after reaching the Chelgerd, go to the Sheikh Ali Khan village and the waterfall.
