Day 1: Tehran to Larijan
Arrive in Tehran at any time, meet your guide, and drive to Larijan.
Day 2: Damavand Hiking
Hiking at an altitude of 2500 m above sea level in Lar National Park. You are impressed by the picturesque scene of Mount Damavand with an elevation of 5671 m. We have an excursion around the region and visit the historical human-made caves of Kafar-Kuli. The caves are more than 1400 years old. This walking tour will take around four hours. We will set up tents in this region with the possibility of using a hot water spring.
Day 3: Damavand Hiking
Hiking on the northern side of Damavand near Haraz Valley and visiting Shahandasht waterfall & Malek Bahman Castle. The waterfall and castle are at an altitude of 1700 m above sea level. The walk will take around four hours.
Day 4: Hyrcanian forest of Mazandaran
Drive towards the Hyrcanian forest and hike in the mountain forests. We will cross the mountain steps to the Hyrcanian forests from 2800 m to 2400 m. It will take about three to four hours.
Day 5: Caspian Sea
Hiking in lowland forests near the Caspian Sea, where located at an altitude of 100m to 300 m. This walking tour will take about four hours.
Day 6: Caspian Sea
Drive to the west, towards Talesh mountains, to have an excursion and hike from the Caspian Sea to rise fields. The elevation will be around sea level, and this walking tour will take about two or three hours.
Day 7: Fuman
Visit Rudkhan Castle, where located at an altitude of 625 m above sea level. This journey includes a long walk of about two hours. Then we move towards Masuleh village, which is a beautiful village on the steep slopes of the Hyrcanian forests. Included a long walk of around two hours.
Drive to Talesh mountain and hike in the tree lines and grasslands of Talesh mountains, where located at an elevation of 2000 to 2500 m. Included a long walk of around four hours.
Day 9: Sarein
Hiking around the Neur Lake where located at an elevation of 2500 m above sea level. Included a long walk of around four hours. We will walk in mountain steps to the wetlands of Neur Lake. We will stay in Sarein and use the biggest hot water source in Iran.
Day 10: Sabalan
On the 10th day of our journey, we drive towards Sabalan and stop 3000 m from the mountain. We walk up to an elevation of 3500 m above sea level, and we will visit nomads and a mountain lake at an elevation of 3500 m with a picturesque view of the Sabalan summit (Elevation: 4850 m).
Drive towards Tabriz and hike through the beautiful red-green Gypsus hills, where located at an altitude of 1600 m. This journey includes a long walk of around four hours.
Hiking through the red-white hills between Tabriz and Marand for about three hours, where located at an altitude of 1500 m. Then we visit Cohror church and have an excursion around the region. The Afternoon will be spent sightseeing in Tabriz.
Hike from 3000 m up to 3300 m in mountain grasslands to reach the lake of Sahand. It will have a long walk, around four hours. Evening flight from Tabriz to Tehran.
Drive to Tochal Tele cabin to get the gondola. The duration between stations 1 and 7 is about 50 minutes, from an elevation of 1700 m to 3700 m. Then walk down to 2500 m with a nice view of Tehran. Included a long walk of around four hours.
Day 15: Tehran / Qom
Walk through the Salt Lake between Tehran and Qom.
Day 16
Transfer to IKA, and take a flight back.
