Tepe Hissar is an archaeological hill in Damghan which dates back to the seven thousand years BC. Archaeological investigations reveal that people were inhabited in Tepe Hissar up to 1700 BC, but after that, no one has been lived there. Doctor Schmidt, a German archaeologist, gained valuable discoveries on Tepe Hissar. He discovered a castle the evidence showed that the site burnt by people. One of the features of people in this region is the way they buried the dead. They buried the dead toward sunset. The sun was valuable for people in Tepe Hissar. Also, they put precious objects in the grave that were equal for men and women.
