The architecture of Aminiha Hosseiniyeh
At first, it is better to know that a Hosseiniyeh is a mourning area or a hall for Shia Muslim commemoration ceremonies, especially, Mourning of Muharram. Aminiha Hosseiniyeh dates back to the Qajar era with an area of 2844 square meters. This Hosseiniyeh consists of two courtyards, three halls, and some different areas in the basement, such as Sharbat Khane (A place used to provide materials of catering). The three halls with marvelous Orsi (Sasha window) located parallel, considered as the prominent part of Aminiha Hosseiniyeh. These halls locating between two northern and southern courtyards. The middle hall is larger than two other halls. The southern hall is decorated with nine Orsi or Sasha windows, including colorful glasses. Moreover, there are fabulous ornamentations such as Āina-kāri, Stucco, and wooden Girih tiles in the ceiling that create an eye-catching view.
