Mout Sialan is the name of a mountain located in the Alborz mountain range, located on the border between Mazandaran and Qazvin. Mount Sialan is one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Iran.
Sialan Peak is 4175 meters above sea level. This mountain overlooks the south of the Roodbar Alamut area of Qazvin province and north to the Dohezar valley of Tonekabon in Mazandaran.
The most important peaks of the western Alborz which located on the west side of the Alamkouh area (from the east to the west) are Shah Alborz, the "Sialan", "Khashchal", "Bezabun", "Semamus" and "Dorfak", which are always climbers climbing all over the country. Meanwhile, the peak of Sialan is very charming due to its location between the two vast areas of Alamut and Dahar.
For this summit, there is a shelter on the north side and one on the south side.
There are also two convenient places for camping and nestling. One "Wenny" sheepfold, located at an altitude of 3300 meters and not reaching 550 meters, reaches the Sialan Cave along the Mazandaran Province and in the beautiful Dohezar valley, and the other one is for camping at 300 meters of crests on the side of Qazvin province at an altitude of 3550 meters and above the shelter.
You can go to Mount Sialan in all seasons. But if you want to climb the summit, summer is the best season.
Climbing in winter is not recommended due to the high temperatures and heavy winds and long paths.
