Itinerary (Tehran Must-Sees tour):

Day 1: Tehran
This tour is a must in Tehran. It starts at 9 AM, following the arrival to the main square of Tehran – Imam Khomeini Square our first visit is to Bagh Melli, which is the heart of Tehran where buildings in the early Pahlavi Era were constructed. Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Police Department, Qazac Khaneh, University of Art, and National Library are some of the buildings built in the "National Architectural Style". Learn about Persian History at the most significant museum of Iran: the National Museum of Iran, which consists of two sections: the Museum of Ancient Iran, and the Museum of the Islamic Era. The first part has the most important exhibits from ancient Persepolis, Chogha Zanbil, Susa, and many other sites. The Museum of the Islamic Era has wonderful exhibits from the Abbasid, Seljuk, Ilkhanid, Safavid, and Qajar periods displayed in chronological order. Your guide expert in Persian Art and History explains to you the secrets of 3 thousand years old civilizations that influenced Western culture. Jewelry Museum is the cherished one…. The most notable and important jewelry museum in the World! Situated within the Central Bank building, this museum houses hundreds of national treasures that were collected by numerous shahs of Iran. Daria-I-Noor is the largest diamond in the historic World. The Peacock Throne, The Samarian Spinel, Pahlavi Crown are jewels among hundreds of others that will be displayed at the museum. Our last visit is to Golestan Palace. This royal Qajar Palace complex is one of the oldest historic monuments in Tehran and a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has a beautiful garden, fountain pools, charming throne hall of Persian Shahs art collections, and many other sections worth visiting. We visit the Reception Hall (Talar Salam), Royal Garden, Marble Throne (Eyvan Takhte-e-Marmar), and The Badgir (wind catcher).

Special Note:
Jewelry Museum is closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. It will be replaced by Reza Abbasi Museum on Thursday and Friday and Malek Museum on Wednesday. Tehran Grand Bazaar is closed on Fridays. Some shops will be open around the Bazaar area.
